Things You'll Need:

- Paint Brushes, Roller & Paint Tray
-
Step 1
Project the castle image onto one wall. You can place the castle at the baseboard or in the middle of the wall. Make it larger or smaller with the placement of your projector.
-
Step 2
Trace the image on the wall with a pencil. Project and trace or freehand the outline of a mountain range behind the castle.
-
Step 3
Begin filling in the outline with acrylic craft paint and latex wall paint. Paint the larger images like the sky, mountains and castle with latex paint, rolling where you can to make it easier.
-
Step 4
Fill in the details with the acrylic paints, after the latex paint dries. Add snow to the mountain peaks and a meadow or a moat around the base of the castle. Project the castle onto the wall again, directly on top of the painted outline. Draw in lines for the turret or add a flag with your daughter's name on it. Shade the windows and outlines for the exterior wall, like concrete blocks or a drawbridge.
-
Step 5
Repeat the process on another wall adjacent to the castle wall with a young princess, dancing in a meadow or swinging on a white tree swing, entwined with flowering vines. Find ready made scenes in coloring books or online, or use your imagination to design a princess scene that any young girl would enjoy. Rather than creating a painted princess scene, continue the meadow from the castle wall, complete with a large tree and a branch thick enough for a swing. Hang a real swing from the ceiling in place of painting one on the wall. Your daughter will love it.
-
Step 6
Hang a crystal chandelier in the center of the room. Replace standard curtains with strands of crystal beads that you can easily make yourself. Hang a window shade for privacy, but let the light come through the crystals during the day. The room will fill with projected color when the sun finds the crystals.
