Mohawks are usually found on boys, but in this day and age, girls wear them too. You don't have to have short hair to pull off a mohawk.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Flat iron your hair. Iron sections that are 1 inch wide for a smooth finish.

  2. Step 2

    Hairspray your hair, which should be straight at this point.

  3. Step 3

    Part your hair to the left and section off 6 inches of hair from the right side of your head.

  4. Step 4

    Comb the 6-inch section of hair straight up. Spray it with hairspray until it is a straight line on top of your head. Spray the mohawk liberally with hairspray.

  5. Step 5

    Flat iron the erect section of hair so that it will stick straight up. Fan out the mohawk with your fingers to make it wider.

Tips & Warnings
  • Consider curling the ends of your mohawk with a flat iron.
