How to Create a Mohawk on a girl

Mohawks are usually found on boys, but in this day and age, girls wear them too. You don't have to have short hair to pull off a mohawk.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Flat iron
• Hair spray
• Comb

1. Flat iron your hair. Iron sections that are 1 inch wide for a smooth finish.

2. Hairspray your hair, which should be straight at this point.

3. Part your hair to the left and section off 6 inches of hair from the right side of your head.

4. Comb the 6-inch section of hair straight up. Spray it with hairspray until it is a straight line on top of your head. Spray the mohawk liberally with hairspray.

5. Flat iron the erect section of hair so that it will stick straight up. Fan out the mohawk with your fingers to make it wider.

• Consider curling the ends of your mohawk with a flat iron.
