"Single Ladies," also known as "Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)" by Beyonce Knowles is an R&B song released in 2008. It was Beyonce's fifth number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. The music video of "Single Ladies" was directed by Jake Nava, who is a frequent director for Beyonce's videos. The video was choreographed by JaQuel Knight, who was originally praised but later the dance routine was found to be derivative of Bob Fosse's choreography of Gwen Verdon's "Mexican Breakfast" as seen on the Ed Sullivan Show. Beyonce later admitted to having been inspired by the video before the "Single Ladies" video was released. If you would like to impress your friends on the dance floor, learn how to shake it to the dance moves from the "Single Ladies" video.
