How to Make a Furry Hoodie
You want to keep up with the latest fashions, but you also want to stay within your budget. One way to do this is by updating pieces you may already have in your wardrobe. Fur-trimmed hoodies are trendy and are also easy to make. With a little time and a few craft supplies, you'll be in style---and you'll still have money in your pocket.

1
Find a hoodie that you want to decorate. If you don't have one in your closet, you can buy inexpensive ones at most big-box stores or discount clothing stores.
-
2
Measure around the hood with a tape measure to determine how much fur you will need. Start at one side where the hood meets the jacket and measure to the same point on the opposite side.

3
Purchase the fur trim for your hoodie at a craft store or big-box store. Buy a little more than your measurement, in case you make a mistake.
-
4
Position the fur on the hood using straight pins. The fur trim should come just over the edge of the hood.
-
5
Starting at one side, sew the fur trim to the hood. If you do not have access to a sewing machine, you can use a hot glue gun.
-
6
Work your way around the hood until you've reached the other side. Trim off any excess fur.
