How to Make Apple Pie--the Alcoholic Drink

The apple pie can be customized to suit your taste.

The alcoholic drink called apple pie is a favorite at Thanksgiving dinners and parties. There are several versions of the drink, and it can be customized to suit your taste. The drink tastes just like apple pie. When using the cooked recipe, be careful, because you cannot taste the alcohol, making it easy to drink too much.

Things You'll Need

• Apple cider
• Apple juice
• Cinnamon sticks
• Grain alcohol
• Sugar
• Pitchers
• Coconut rum
• Powdered cinnamon
• Cocktail shaker
• Vodka
• Whipped cream
• Spiced rum

Instructions

Cooked Apple Pie Drink

1. Put 1 gallon of apple cider, 1/2 gallon of apple juice and five cinnamon sticks in a large pot, and bring to a boil.

2. Add 2 cups of sugar and stir until dissolved. Take off the heat and let cool to room temperature.

3. Remove the cinnamon sticks and add 2 cups of grain alcohol. Pour into pitchers and put in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Variations

1. Mix 1 shot of rum with 10 oz. of apple juice in a shaker to make an apple pie with a crust. Toss in two pinches of powdered cinnamon. Shake and pour over ice or put in a mug and microwave for 1 1/2 minutes.

2. Fill half a shot glass with apple cider and top with vodka to make an apple pie shot. Place whipped cream on top.

3. Fill half a shot glass with apple juice and top with spiced rum to make an apple pie slammer. Top with whipped cream.

• Grain alcohol is not legal in all states.

• Never drink and drive.
