How to Make a File Folder of JPEGs Into a Slide Show Movie
Do you have images of your friends and family in a folder and want to show them off? Making a slide show out of JPEG images is the best way to capture your memories. You can post your slide show on popular networking sites like Facebook or MySpace, for all of your friends to see. Making a slide show requires no time at all, and is completely stress-free.

Go to the "Start" menu and open Windows Movie Maker. This is an easy-to-use program that comes with all XP and Vista OS computers.

Go to "File" in the top toolbar and click "New Project."

Click "Import Media" in the top toolbar and locate your file folder of JPEGs. Clicking "Pictures" under "Import" (located in the "Tasks" menu) will accomplish the same task. The "Tasks" toolbar is to the left of the Windows Movie Maker program.

Double-click on the file folder. Press the "Ctrl" and "A" keys together to select all of the JPEGs in the folder. Click "Import."

Drag your JPEGs, in the order in which you want them to appear in your slide show, to the "storyboard." The storyboard is at the very bottom of the program, and looks like a film strip. Drag your first picture to the first box, labeled "Drag media here." Repeat this process until you have dragged all of your desired pictures to the storyboard.

Save your slide show, then go to "File" and click "Publish movie." Select the location where you want to publish the movie, then click "Next." Name your movie, then choose its quality and size and click "Publish."
