Instructions

    • 1

Fold the leather cord in half. Tie an overhand knot to make a loop at the center point that is just large enough for the beads to pass through.

    • 2

Place a bead on the leather cords and push it all the way to the knot. Tie another overhand knot to keep the bead in place.

    • 3

Measure down an inch and tie another overhand knot.

    • 4

Repeat Steps 2 and 3 with three more beads.

    • 5

Make the toggle by separating the cords after the last knot. String the final bead onto the cords at a 90-degree angle by passing each cord through the bead from the opposite ends of the bead.

    • 6

Pull the cords out of the opposite holes of the bead and pull the cords tight.

    • 7

Bring the ends of the leather cords back down to the last knot and tie the cords together around this knot. Tie the cords another time very tightly. Trim off any excess cord to finish the bracelet.

    • 8

Pass the toggle bead through the loop on the other side of the bracelet to close the leather strand bracelet.
