How to Make Princess Foam Crafts

Cut four 1-inch strips of a contrasting color foam sheet. With fancy scissors, trim the edges of the foam strips.
-
4
Lay the foam covered frame up. With the sharp side of the scissors, press down and score along the inside opening of the frame where a picture would go. Cut the insert out with scissors.

Apply white glue along the frame window on the craft foam, working one side at a time. Press on the contrasting 1-in strip with the fancy cut side just above the frame window. Cut the end at a diagonal to match the next strip to be applied around the window so they fit neatly. Let dry.

Decorate the crown created in Step 1 with markers and write "Princess" on the front. Apply white glue to the back of the crown and press down across one corner of the frame. Let dry.
Tips & Warnings
Keep a supply of craft foam in a box available for projects. Themed packages are often discounted just after a holiday. Foam sheets are very easy to cut, even with fancy scissors.
Small children may need adult help with this or other foam projects.
