Instructions

    • 1

Insert the Logitech QuickCam CD-ROM that was included with your QuickCam into your computer.

    • 2

Wait for the QuickCam Setup Wizard screen to appear. Follow the instructions for setup in the wizard, and then wait for your computer to restart.

    • 3

Wait for the computer to perform the software installation once it restarts. In the meantime, don't connect the camera to the computer until you are asked to on the installation screen.

    • 4

Connect the camera when you are asked to. To connect the camera, plug it into a direct USB port (on your computer, not a USB hub).

Tips & Warnings

  • Connect your webcam directly to a high-speed USB port that is on your computer, and not part of a hub network. Anything less will give you less-than-optimal performance from your webcam. Set the base of your webcam at least 2 feet from the focal point for the best focus.

  • Connect your webcam to your computer when prompted, and not before, since doing so could interfere with the webcam software installation.
