How to Soothe a Yeast Infection
Yeast infections are caused by the fungus Candida, which is commonly found around the mouth and vagina. Excessive growth of this fungus leads to a yeast infection. Although yeast infections are normally harmless and not considered a sexually transmitted disease, they produce a variety of uncomfortable symptoms, such as itching and irritation.
