How to Download Skype on an HTC

As cell phones get more sophisticated, more features are becoming available to your smart cell phone. Using Skype on your home computer is great because you get to talk to other people on the Skype network for free or other phone numbers for a low cost-per-minute rate. With this technology, you can use Skype on your cell phone and not use all your calling minutes, but instead talk through your data service instead.

Downloading Skype on an HTC

1. Go to the Android Market on your phone.

2. Choose apps from the options.

3. Type "skype" into the Search area or scan the Top Free apps area to locate the Skype app.

4. Select the Skype app, click "Download" and choose "Accept and Download."

5. The app will install. When the installation is complete, select "Open" to launch the program.
