How to Make a Frisbee Golf Basket
Playing Frisbee golf is a great way to take a passive activity like throwing a Frisbee and turning it into a competitive sport. Not only does the Frisbee golfer need strength and technique to fire the Frisbee a long way, he must have a subtle touch to make the short shots and put the Frisbee into the basket. You can't play without Frisbee golf baskets. Here's how to make them.

1
Go to a golf driving range. The owners of the range provide golf balls for golfers to work on their swings, and they distribute those balls in buckets. The bucket sizes are extra large, large, tall, medium and small. Ask the driving-range owner if he has any large buckets that are worn out that he is ready to get rid of. These are the perfect size for Frisbee golf baskets. They will usually let you have these for free.

2
Cut off the bottom third of the driving-range bucket using a hacksaw. The large bucket has the right size opening for a Frisbee, but it is too small at the bottom end. You now have a Frisbee golf basket.

3
Go to a craft store and buy nylon webbing. You need six strips that are longer than the diameter of your bucket to create a bottom for your Frisbee golf basket. Weave them together and attach them to the bucket with rubber cement. Trim the excess pieces of the strips with scissors.
-
4
Build your Frisbee golf course. Pound hooks or nails into a large wooden barrier or tree. This is your target, or "hole." Make sure there is enough distance---at least 70 yards---between the tee area and the hole.
-
5
Put up at least nine holes on your Frisbee golf course. It should take a few hours to make your Frisbee golf baskets and another few hours to put up those holes on your golf course.

Tips & Warnings
Talk to your local governing body or park district about your plans. If you build a Frisbee golf course on public property, you need permission. Many park districts will thank you for your efforts, but few will appreciate it if you do it without asking.
