How to Wind a Pendulum Clock
Pendulum clocks are beautiful and functional additions to any room. Depending upon the size and style of the clock, they can be displayed on any flat surface or hung on walls. Grandfather clocks in particular may serve as focal points to a room or entryway and have the potential to become valuable heirlooms. Winding pendulums within these clocks is necessary to maintain the clocks and their works. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions

1
Open the door of the clock to access its keyholes.
-
2
Locate the keyholes on your pendulum clock. These are found on the front face of the clock and will match the key it came with. The right keyhole controls the time, and the left is for the chime.
-
-
3
Place the key into the keyhole, and turn it in the direction of the small arrow indicated on the clock's face. If there are no arrows displayed, turn the key clockwise.
-
4
Cease turning the key when it comes to a complete stop. You will feel the resistance when this happens.
-
5
Remove the key from the keyhole. The pendulum should resume movement on its own, but if not, gently push it to put it back into motion.
