Things You'll Need:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup honey
- Baby powder
- Tongue depressor
- Cotton strips
- Washcloth
- Saucepan
- Bowl
- Spoon
- Stove
- Facial lotion

Step 1
Pour 1/4 cup lemon juice into a bowl along with 1/4 cup of honey and 1 cup of sugar. Mix these ingredients together with a spoon.

Pour the mixture into a saucepan and place the pan on your stove. Turn your stove burner on the lowest setting.

Stir the mixture over the low flame until it bubbles, thickens and darkens in color.

Take the saucepan off the stove and allow it to cool in a bowl until it can be touched without scalding. Make sure it is still hot.

Apply baby powder to the area of your face that you wish to wax.

Dip a tongue depressor into the hot wax and smooth it over the desired area of your face. Apply the wax in the direction your hair grows.

Press a strip of cotton cloth onto the wax and rub your finger back and forth across it.

Pull the cotton cloth off your skin in the direction the hair grows. The area waxed should now be hairless and smooth.

Wax the rest of the desired areas.

Lay a damp, cold washcloth against the waxed skin to calm irritation and reduce redness.

Apply facial lotion to moisturize skin and reduce bumps.
