Instructions
-
-
1
Measure from the top of your wrist to the underside and add 1 inch to this measurement.
-
2
Cut four lengths of beading wire to the measurement measured in Step 1.
-
-
3
Place a crimp bead onto the end of one length of beading wire. Pass the beading wire through the loop on one side of the watch face and back through the crimp bead. Pull the beading wire tight so that the tail of wire is approximately 1/2-inch long.
-
4
Crimp the crimp bead with the crimping pliers. Cut off the excess beading wire after the crimp bead.
-
5
Repeat Step 3 and Step 4 another length of beading wire on the same side of the watch face.
-
6
Repeat Step 3 and Step 4 with the two remaining beading wires on the other side of the watch face.
-
7
Determine your beading sequence and design. Experiment with different arrangements until you are happy. One example of a design would be to thread an 8-mm bi-cone crystal, two seed beads, a 6-mm bi-cone crystal, two more seed beads and repeating this sequence.
-
8
Thread your beads onto each of the four beading wires coming out from the watch face. Stop when the beading wires have approximately 1 inch of free space. Place small pieces of clear tape on each end of the beading wires to keep the beads securely onto the beading wires.
-
9
Place the bracelet watch on your wrist and make sure it is the proper size. If it is too large, remove the necessary beads to make it smaller. Remove the same number of beads from each wire. If it is too small, add the same number of beads to each beading wire. Check the size again.
-
10
Remove the tape from one of the beading wires and place a crimp bead onto a beading wire. Insert the beading wire through the loop of one half of the toggle clasp and pass the beading wire back through the crimp bead and pull the wire tight.
-
11
Crimp the crimp bead with the crimping pliers. Cut off the excess beading wire after the crimp bead.
-
12
Repeat Step 10 and Step 11 with the other beading wire on the same side of the bracelet watch and then again with the other two beading wires on the other side of the bracelet watch (with the second half of the toggle clasp) to finish the bracelet watch.
