Things You'll Need:
- Tiara
- Bobby pins (optional)
- Hair spray
-
Step 1
Create your up-do hairstyle. Use hairspray to secure the hairstyle in the position you desire. If you make some sort of bun on the top of your head, this could be the perfect spot to position your tiara.
-
Step 2
Look at your tiara and determine how it is designed. If it has a comb protruding from the center of it, this is how this tiara is designed to be worn. If it does not have a comb, then it will have to be secured to your head with bobby pins.
-
Step 3
Push your tiara comb firmly into the hair on the top of your head. Typically, the tiara would be worn on the top of the head and not the front of the head. If you have a bun on your head, push the comb into the base of the bun. This should be sufficient to secure the tiara to your head.
-
Step 4
Center a tiara without a comb onto the top of your head. Once you have the tiara in the position you want it, attach it firmly in place by placing bobby pins over the bottom of the tiara and into your hair. Use as many bobby pins as is necessary along the entire length of the base of the tiara to firmly attach the tiara to your hair.
-
Step 5
Arrange your hair around the tiara to incorporate the tiara into your hairstyle and spray the entire hairstyle with a finishing coat of hair spray.
