Instructions

    • 1

Choose the object you want to mold. Do this before you buy the molding kit so you know how much silicon you need.

    • 2

Following the manufacturer's instructions, mix the molding medium.

    • 3

Spray the object with cooking oil spray.

    • 4

Make the mold. Press the object to be molded into a piece of prepared silicon. Make sure everything but the back of the object is covered with silicon. Make what will be the bottom of the mold thicker than the sides.

    • 5

Place the mold on a smooth, hard surface. Press down a little so the bottom of the mold flattens out. This will help hold it steady as you fill it.

    • 6

Allow the mold to cure and harden as recommended by the manufacturer.

    • 7

Remove the object from the mold and fill it as desired.
