Two very simple options.

Logos can be complex or simple. One of the simplest ways to make a logo, even if you are not a designer, is to make a circled logo. The circle is a great shape for a logo, which can translate to stickers, t-shirt designs and letterheads. There are ways to customize your circled logo with different font choices and color choices. You can create a simple logo that is professional and represents the business you are designing for.

      Option 1.

There are two very simple ways to design a circled logo. The first is basic text with the company's name within a circle. Create the text with a font that is eye catching and represents your business. Draw the circle around the text and center the text within the circle. Increase the stroke size on the circle until you are happy with it. That's all there is to it for this very basic, simple, yet effective option.

      Option 2.

The second option is very simple as well, but a little more "edgy" than the first. Create your logo to be linear. Then place it so that part of it is out of the circle. Create a white shape and arrange it behind the text, but in front of the circle, to create the broken circle shape look.

      Color experimentation.

Play with colors. Experiment with thickening the stroke or getting rid of it completely and filling in the circle with color. You can experiment with text colors as well. Have fun with it and make sure that it represents the business you are designing for.

Tips & Warnings

  • Play around with fonts. Experiment with colors. Try different placement of text within the circle. Make sure that your text is legible from far away.

  • Don't settle for fonts that are too generic.
