Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Long stem flowers
  • Foliage
  • Floral tape
  • Floral wire
  • Wide ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Accents
  1. Step 1

Select the flowers you desire to arrange for a bouquet. Ensure the flowers complement the colors present at the event. Choose foliage to enhance the bouquet.

  2. Step 2

Place flowers in water while you are gathering your materials. Giving them plenty of water before assembly will ensure beautiful flowers for your bouquet and prevent wilting and drying out. Remove any thorns or imperfections from the stems.

  3. Step 3

Place flowers and foliage on a table with the buds facing you to begin constructing the bouquet. Carefully choose your central flower and hold it at the stem. As you arrange your bouquet, cut the bottom of the stems off at a sharp angle.

  4. Step 4

Include flowers intermingled with foliage and any accents you may desire, such as baby's breath, pearl or tulle within the bouquet. Turn the bouquet as you arrange it to keep an even amount of flowers throughout.

  5. Step 5

Once the arrangement is complete, wrap the floral wire around the full length of the stems. Cover the wire with floral tape and press to secure. Use your ribbon the cover the tape and accent your bouquet. Wrap the entire length of the stem and tie a tight knot. Add tails or tie a nice bow to finish the bouquet.
