How to Make Digital Scrapbook Pages Into a Book
Digital scrapbooking is becoming more popular. You can design a page, add graphics and photos, and create something beautiful using only a mouse instead of scissors, paper, stickers and glue. Best of all, you can store your work online and share it digitally with friends. If you enjoy digital scrapbooking but also want to have a paper copy, follow these steps.
Things You'll Need
- Color photo printer
- Acid-free photo paper
- Scissors
- Optional: colored scrapbook paper and acid-free glue or double-sided tape
- Scrapbook or binder
Instructions
-
-
1
Open a digital scrapbook page file on your computer.
-
2
If possible, choose a setting on your printer to print without margins.
-
-
3
Load the photo paper into your printer. If you have designed your scrapbook pages in the traditional 12-by-12-inch format, you need to have a wide-format printer and 12-by-12-inch photo paper. If you don't have both of these, resize your digital pages to an 8-by-8-inch format that will fit on regular letter-sized paper.
-
4
Click "Print."
-
5
If you are printing in an 8-by-8-inch format or if you have unwanted margins, trim the excess paper.
-
6
Repeat Steps 1 through 5 for all your digital pages.
-
7
Let the pages dry for 24 hours.
-
8
Put the pages in a scrapbook or binder.

Tips & Warnings
If you don't have a color photo printer or the right size of paper, save your digital scrapbook pages as .jpg files. Then you can either burn the files to a CD and take it to a professional printer, like Kinkos or Inkleys, or you can join an online photo service, like Shutterfly, upload your .jpg files, and create a book it will print and mail to you.
