How to Tow a Car With a Jeep
After you are in an accident or if your car dies on the side of the road, you will need to get to a repair shop as quickly as possible so you can get your car back on the road. Calling a tow truck can possibly cost you over $100. So, you can use a Jeep to pull your vehicle home. Towing a car with a Jeep is very easy with a chain.

Purchase a 7 to 10 foot tow chain from your local hardware store.

Wrap an end of the chain around the rear axle of the Jeep. Place the chain over either side of the rear axle differential case and loop it under the axle and hook it back on the chain, leaving very little slack.

Place the other end of the chain over the top of the center of the front axle on the car you're towing. Wrap it under the axle and hook it back on the chain, leaving very little slack.

Put the car you are towing in neutral. While towing the car with your Jeep, have someone sit in the car and apply the brakes as needed to keep the chain from dragging on the highway. The person in the car can also steer the car as needed.

Turn on the Jeep's and car's hazard lights and try not to drive over 40 mph while towing the car.

Tips & Warnings
This is legal to do, but remember that other vehicles are moving faster than you so try to get off of the freeway as quickly as possible and do this on less busy streets if possible.
