Purchase the "Q&A Review for the Medical Assistant" by Prentice Hall. The book contains practice questions that are similar to the ones found on the medical assistant certification exam. The book also comes with a CD-Rom that contains four practice exams.

Visit the American Association of Medical Assistants website and take the 50 question anatomy and physiology practice exam. Although the website's exam questions aren't the exact ones you'll find on the official medical assistant certification exam, they are designed to test your knowledge on anatomy and physiology.

Take the medical terminology practice test on the AAMA website. After answering the fifty questions, compare your answers with the correct answers listed at the bottom of the practice exam.

Purchase the "Kaplan Medical Assistant Exam Review" by Kaplan. The study aid contains a full-length medical assistant practice test with explanations to all questions as well as a section on test-taking strategies designed to help you prepare for exam day.
