iPods are the most popular personal audio players. They are equipped with several features that most people do not use, including the ability to create video playlists. Creating video playlists for the 80gb iPod classic is relatively easy and will allow you to enjoy another feature on your device.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • iTunes (latest version)
  1. Step 1

Download the latest version of iTunes. If you are not sure whether you are running the latest version, click Check for updates from the iTunes menu.

  2. Step 2

Create a new empty playlist. Do this either by clicking the File tab and selecting New playlist or by clicking the plus icon in the lower left-hand corner.

  3. Step 3

Add video files to the new playlist by either dragging files into the playlist folder or by right-clicking the files and selecting Add to playlist.

  4. Step 4

Create a smart video playlist if desired. Click the File tab and choose Create smart playlist. This allows you to create rules for your playlist. If you set a rule to add any movie or TV show into your smart playlist, iTunes will automatically update your playlist as new TV shows or movies are added.
