Instructions

    • 1

Smooth the edges of your spoon handle with a file or emery cloth.

    • 2

Shape your spoon handle around the pipe using your pliers. This will just be a rough shaping, so that you can work with it better in the next few steps.

    • 3

Position your spoon handle against the pipe, and begin hammering at the handle with your mallet.

    • 4

Hammer the handle until it fits around the pipe, using your pliers to help pull the handle around the pipe as well.

    • 5

Pull your ring off the pipe, and sand down any sharp edges.

    • 6

      Polish and wear your ring.

Tips & Warnings

  • Sterling silver spoons will generally be easier to work with because they are more malleable.
