How to Burn UIF Files to DVD Using Nero

UIF files compress DVDs or CDs for backup, and are smaller than other similar methods. Unfortunately, UIF files aren't recognized by some DVD-burning software, such as Nero. To burn a UIF file, you will need to decompress it and change it to a form Nero can read.

Instructions

1. Decompress the UIF file. This can be done using one of a variety of programs, including MagicISO. Simply load MagicISO or a similar program and open the UIF file.

2. MagicISO will then allow you to mount a disk image, which will essentially create a copy of the UIF in the ISO format.

3. Open the ISO in Nero.

4. Select your burning options, such as how large you want your file to be and what drive you wish to use.

5. Burn your DVD.
