Instructions

Go shopping. If you do not have grape seed oil on hand, you will have to make a quick trip to the natural food store. You can pick up the strawberries, lemon and brown sugar at your local grocery store unless you prefer organic ingredients. In that case, you'll have to search for a local market in your area that sells organic food products.

Prepare the ingredients. In a small bowl, mash the strawberries with a potato masher. Next, use a lemon zester to remove all of the peel from the lemon and add it to the strawberries. Mix in the brown sugar and grape seed oil, and blend all the ingredients well.

Apply the mixture to the skin in a circular motion, concentrating on problem areas such as the T-zone. The T-zone is the area around the nose, chin and forehead that is typically prone to breakouts. Let the mixture sit on the skin for 5 minutes, and rinse it with lukewarm water.

Tips & Warnings

  • Experiment with other fruits like kiwi, blueberries, bananas and others to change up your facial routine.

  • Irritation can develop if the mixture gets into your eyes.
