How to Make Baptism Decorations
-
1
Decorate the walls with posters of scripture verses. Baptism is mentioned quite a few times throughout the Bible. Leaf through the Bible, and write out the scripture versed to mark the day. One verse that may be appropriate is Matthew 28:19, which states: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit". Or, the poster can simply proclaim, "God Bless You!" Another option would be to have guests sign a poster marking the occasion of the baptism. They could write well wishes, congratulatory remarks and encouraging statements.

Decorate the your home or party hall in white for the baptism celebration. Since baptism is an outward expression of the washing away of our sins, white is most appropriate. Cover the tables with white cloths, and set the places with white napkins and plates. Instead of napkin rings, use small crosses.

White paper bag luminaries lend an air of celebration to the event. Take white paper bags and cut out the shape of a cross just above the center of each bag.
