  • Container
  • Sahara or other dry floral foam

      Cut foam and firmly push it into the container.

      Cut a main flower stem at least twice the height of your container. Daisies, roses, lilies and carnations work well for main flowers.

      Insert the stem at a slight inward angle in to the foam at the edge of the container.

      Add three to four more stems around the outer edges of the foam.

      Place two stems straight down in to the middle area of the foam.

      Cut three to five flower stems in another color or type. Insert stems into the foam.

      Add longer stems at the sides on centerpiece arrangements for long tables or surfaces.

      Fill in the arrangement until there are no gaps between the flowers. You can use more types of flowers and greenery.
