This article talks about how to cure common cold using some in house remedies.

  1. Step 1

    There are many house remedies that can help you to come over the normal cold. For severe cold, I recommend to see a doctor, but for normal cold and sore throat, you can definitely try these remedies.

  2. Step 2
    No Cold Food

    1)Stop drinking cold drinks, cold water, ice cream, yogurt, chocolates etc.
    2)Drink warm water, ginger tea, hot coffee etc.

  3. Step 3

    Every 4-5 hours, drink warm milk with little turmeric, salt and ghee(butter) in it. It will help to make your throat smooth which will help you to breathe properly.

  4. Step 4
    Gargle
     
    Gargle

    Gargle with warm water with little salt in it. Do it as many times as you can.

  5. Step 5

    Take turmeric in one spoon and mix honey with it. Eat it 4-5 times a day. Do not eat or drink anything right after you have this mixture.

  6. Step 6

    This is a little harder remedy, but if you can do it then it will really help you get good sleep at night. Take ghee in a spoon and warm it little bit on stove. Lie down and put 2-3 drops of this warm ghee in both nostrils one after another. Make sure that warm ghee doesn't hurt your nostrils. Before using just feel it that it is not very hot.
