Step 1
BRUSH WITH BAKING SODA - Give your dentures and good brushing with a tooth brush, water and baking soda. This will remove any debris that may be stuck on the dentures. Baking soda is also gentle enough for you to use to brush your tongue and gums with.
-
Step 2
SOAK IN HYDROGEN PEROXIDE - Mix 1/2 cup water with 1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide 3% solution in a glass bowl. Soak your dentures. Add more water if your dentures are not completely covered. You can also rinse your mouth with a hydrogen peroxide and water, 50/50 mix. Rinse thoroughly.
-
Step 3
FOR EXTRA TOUGH STAINS - Mix 1 cup water with 1/8 cup bleach in a glass bowl. Add more water if your dentures are not covered. Soak your dentures for a few minutes or until the stains are gone. You can not use bleach in your mouth even when diluted with water. Rinse Thoroughly.
-
Step 4
FINAL STEP - After you have rinsed the dentures thoroughly, brush them with your favorite toothpaste and rinse again before wearing them.
