How to Make Quick Italian Pork Chops

Need a quick meal? Not all Italian food requires a lot of time to prepare. Most of the meals are quick and easy. This is a very easy and fast way to cook pork chops Italian style. It will taste like you are dining at a fancy restaurant and will have you craving for more.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pork Chops
  • Onion
  • 2 Bell peppers
  • Oregano
  • Basil
  • Black pepper
  • Olive oil
  • 1 small can of tomato sauce
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Mozzarella cheese
  1. Step 1

    Drizzle olive oil in a large frying pan and heat but do not burn. Slice 1 onion and clean and slice 2 green bell peppers and place in the frying pan to cook for about 3 minutes.

  2. Step 2

    Place the pork chops into the frying pan with the onions. Add one-half cup of water. Sprinkle black pepper, basil and oregano and a small sprinkle of garlic powder and cover with a lid for 5 minutes.

  3. Step 3

    Turn the pork chops. Add 1 small can of tomato sauce. If the mixture has dried, add a small amount of water. Allow this to simmer for 15 minutes. Make sure that the mixture does not dry up.

  4. Step 4

    Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese over the top and cover with the lid. Allow the cheese to melt. When melted, this dish is ready to eat.

Tips & Warnings
  • Place this over a platter of spaghetti for a wonderful meal.
  • Make some garlic bread to soak up the sauce.
  • Always check to make sure that the liquid has not dried up.
  • Always cut a pork chop to make sure that they are completely cooked.
