Step 1
Check with your fellow mommy friends. Most friends will be happy to give or loan you the clothes they wore while their little bundle of joy was baking in the oven!
-
Step 2
Check out the clearance section at Old Navy stores that do not have a maternity section. While I was pregnant, I found some awesome deals there. When these stores receive returned maternity clothes purchased online or at other stores, they automatically put them in the clearance section. I found a $4o pair of blue jeans for $6.98!!! Also, check the clearance section of your favorite department store when you first find out your are pregnant. The out-of-season clothes they have marked-down will be in-season by the time your belly is bulging!
-
Step 3
Check out online classified ads such as Craigs List and Ebay. Often, you will find women on here selling their entire wardrobe for cheap!! You may also find good deals at yard sales.
-
Step 4
Search the racks at your local thrift store or Goodwill. Many major retailers donate brand new clothes to Goodwill. I found several pieces at Goodwill that still had the tags on them from Target.
