Milk Baths are an effective treatment for Keratosis Pilaris. Keratosis Pilaris is a non curable skin condition that's caused by build up in the hair follicles. It has the appearance of small bumps on the skin, and sometimes are red or pink as well. Milk baths are actually a common method of helping to soften the skin and bumps, as well as prevent them from being red or inflammated. All products mentioned can be found under Resources. To use milk baths to help get rid of keratosis pilaris, you should use at least 2 cups of milk added into the bath water. Avoid using hot water, and use either lightly warmed water, or cooler water if you don't mind it.

Bathe in the milk bath for at least 20 minutes. I suggest taking milk baths at least twice a week. I also suggest using a milk based lotion and applying it right after the bath.

For those that don't want to make their own milk bath, there are many milk baths available pre made. Many of them are also vegan friendly. I suggest using milk cased milk baths if you're not concerned with them not being vegan friendly. If you want a vegan friendly milk bath, I suggest only buying one that offers coconut milk as it's milk replacement. Soy based products will not give the same results.
