Things You'll Need:
- paint stripper
- sand paper
- stir stick
- stain
- paper towels

Step 1
First take the cabinets doors offs of the cabinets. Then remove the hardware off of the cabinets. Then if your cabinets are painted then you have to strip the paint off of them.

Now it is time to sand the cabinets. At this point you want to make sure that all cabinets are smooth and that all paint is removed.

Use the stir stick and stir the stain well. Now take a rag and apply the stain to the cabinets. Let the stain set for a minute and wipe off the excess. You may have to repeat the stain if it is not a dark enough color.

Step 4
Lightly sand the cabinets and then remove the saw dust. Now apply a clear protectant to the cabinets. You will probably have to apply at least 2 coats of the protectant to the cabinets. Let dry and then put all the hardware back on the cabinets and hang the doors.
