Many people have had success getting rid of nail fungus by treating it with hydrogen peroxide.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

There are two ways to use Hydrogen peroxide to treat nail fungus. Which type you should use depends on how many nails are infected with a fungus.

  2. Step 2

If you only have one nail that is infected with fungus, rinse the nail with warm water and then dry it off completely. Then take a cotton pad and soak the center with hydrogen peroxide and directly place it onto the infected nail. Keep it there for about 5 minutes, then dry the nail with a dry cotton pad. Repeat this 3-5 times a day until the fungus is gone. Even after the fungus is gone, repeat weekly for 2-3 months to prevent it from returning.

  3. Step 3

If multiple nails are infected with fungus, you should soak the nails in a mixture of 1 part hydrogen peroxide and 1 part water. Allow them to soak for 15 minutes, then be sure to completely dry them off. Repeat this process nightly for 6 weeks.
