Here is a way to make your stuffing a little more heartier and tastier for the holidays! It will be a sure winner for all your family and guests at your next dinner party! It also makes a great side dish at your next church social or neighborhood block party.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 pound of pork sausage 1/2 Cup of chopped celery 1/2 cup of chopped onions 2 cups of chopped green bell pepper 3 hard boiled eggs 1/2 teaspoon of salt 2 cups of crushed corn flakes
  1. Step 1

    Crumble ground sausage in skillet. When it begins to fry, add onions, celery and green peppers.

  2. Step 2

    Cook the mixture until onions become transparent. Remove from the flame. Chopped the hard boiled eggs very finely and add to the sausage mixture. With the exception of the prepared cornbread, combine the rest of the ingredients, mixing them thoroughly.

  3. Step 3

    Add sufficient turkey stock to moisten the prepared cornbread. When done correctly, the mixture should adhere to fingers. Add the sausage mixture to the cornbread and mix well.

  4. Step 4

    The mixture is ready to be stuffed into the turkey. Any additional stuffing that will not fit into the turkey, place in a baking dish and bake until crispy on top.
