Step 2
CurrycombUsing a shedding blade or currycomb will definitely help. Those items will pull loose hairs free. When using these items, use with a light hand. These items do not need to be pressed firmly on the horse. A light stroke with gather a lot are hair, and will not hurt your horse.

Horse taking a bath =), http://www.horses-and-horse-information.com/images/horse_bath.gifGive your horse a bath. This will help loosen the hairs that are still trying to hang on, but will end up all over you later. When giving my horse a bath I have found that using a rubber horse grooming grove is very helpful. Using the glove, rub your horse. This will help remove dirt and excess hair.

Step 4
Fiber Glass Grooming Block, http://www.tractorsupply.com/wcsstore/ConsumerDirectStorefrontAssetStore/images/products/600/5023621.jpgLast but not least, use a fiberglass grooming block. This item will help gather loose hairs as you rub him down.
