Things You'll Need

  • 4 16-in. 2-by-4 boards
  • Wood screws
  • 16 in. square plywood
  • 3½ in. PVC 4 in. diameter pipe
  • Construction adhesive

Instructions

    • 1

      Create a square frame using four 2-by-4s. Each board should be about 16 inches long. Bind together with wood screws.

      Attach a 16 inch square piece of plywood to the bottom of the frame using wood screws.

      Cut a 4-inch diameter piece of PVC pipe to 3½ inches in length.

      Use construction adhesive to attach the pipe to the bottom of the box so that one opening stands up and the other is flush with the bottom of the board.

      Allow the glue to thoroughly dry.

      Make another game board exactly the same as the first for competitive play.

      Purchase washers and begin playing.

Tips & Warnings

  • Add details to the boxes for added eye appeal. They can be sanded, primed, painted and have carpet put in the inside of the box on top of the plywood before adding the PVC pipe.
