1. Use your gift as much as possible. As with any talent or gift within a human, when unused it becomes rusty. A runner that does not run often will find themselves slower over time. A musician does not let his insturment sit in a corner hidden and ignored. He plays it daily to improve upon his music. The same holds true with our mind and those gifts. We must find ways to use them as often as we can so that they do not diminish from being unused or untrained.

2. Exercise your mind daily. Find a simple mind exercise that you can use to improve your gifts.

3. Read and make use of the materials you encounter reading. There is no shame in reading about tarot or runes before trying them. Learn everything you can about various mediums. Then when you use these, you increase your chances at success. Reading about all of the ways a psychic gift is used may give you ideas and ways to improve upon your own.

4. Start with easy things, entertain your friends with free tarot readings. Friends are a great source of practice if you are interested in things like tarot, palm readings, runes, etc. Most of your friends will be intrigued and excited to give you a chance to improve your craft.

5. Participate in a forum or group that practices various methods of psychic giftedness. Being around others interested in learning and using their gifts will offer you advice and encouragement on your journey to improve these abilities.

6. Allow your spiritual body to connect with your mind and emotions. Put all three areas of your life into a balance where they can feed off each other and perform at their best. Do not neglect the physical needs of your body and expect your mental awareness to stay sharp.
