Getting free products at Walmart is easy once you learn how to stockpile your coupons and get important mark-down (or rollback) price information. Learn how to use these two tools to get free full-size products from Walmart. (This is not about getting samples online, but getting the items from your local Walmart store.)

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The first step is stockpiling your coupons. Grocery coupons are everywhere. They come in the Sunday paper, in some weekly newspapers, in magazines, and inside stores. Read my article in the sidebar and in the resources section below titled How to Get Unlimited Free Grocery Coupons. I have outlined tips for getting free coupons from friends, unwanted newspapers, and online.

  2. Step 2

You don’t have to cut out all the coupons. Just save the coupons inserts or internet printed coupons in an organized way. It can be in a folder, in a stack, or how ever you decide. You just want to be able to pull out the inserts and get the coupons you need when you find a hot tip. Pay special attention to the coupons for $3, $4, $5, or buy one get one free coupons.

  3. Step 3

Now, for your hot tips. Subscribe to blogs like MoneySavingMom, Freebies4Mom, CouponCravings, and StretchingABuck. These blogging moms have huge followings, and their readers send in tips about how to use a coupon with a marked down or clearance price to get a free item. For example, recently a coupon insert had a $2 off coupon for Olay soap. Walmart marked the soap down to $1.97, making the item free with a small overage. If you have 10-20 of these coupons, you can rack up a huge supply of soap.

  4. Step 4

Another example – Iams had a $5 off coupon for cat or dog food on a recent coupon insert. Walmart carried the item for $7.98, but marked the item down to $5. After multiple trips to Walmart, I wound up with 20 bags of dog food worth $159 for free!

  5. Step 5

I have have scored a large supply of air fresheners, pet food, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, panty hose, crackers, canned goods, cereal, and many more items just because I had the right coupon at the right time when Walmart introduced a rollback price. When you learn how to combine your coupons with clearance prices at Walmart on a regular basis, you can get hundreds of dollars of free groceries a month. It takes dedication, patience, and organization.

  6. Step 6

See the resources section below for more tips and tools to help you get free items from Walmart.
