How to Securely Attach a Korker Bow to Flip Flops

It is easy to make cute boutique style flip flops at home. There are several methods you can use to attach the korker bow or any other type of bow to flip flops.

Things You'll Need

• flip flops
• 2 bows
• Velcro
• needle and thread
• E6000 craft adhesive
• clothes pins

Instructions

1. 

   Before starting make sure your flip flops are clean and dry. The first way you can attach a korker bow to flip flops is to use a craft glue. The E6000 craft adhesive works best for this due to it being an industrial strength adhesive. The adhesive takes several hours to dry. Use a clothes pin to help hold the bow on while the adhesive dries.

   Another way to attach a korker bow to flip flops is to use Velcro. It is best to use the E6000 craft adhesive to attach the Velcro to the bow and the Velcro to the flip flop. Using Velcro allows you to be able to change the bows on your flip flops to match your outfit. Make sure that you attach the same side of the Velcro to each bow so that they all will be able to attach to the flip flop. Allow the adhesive to dry thoroughly before attaching bows to the flip flops.

3. 

   Another way to attach the korker bow to the flip flop is to sew them on by hand. This can be tedious and may be difficult depending on how thick the flip flop band is.

Tips & Warnings

• Do not use a glue gun to attach the bows. The bows will easy become detached.
