Instructions

    • 1

Open up the photo software on your computer. In the upper left and corner, select "File," then "Create New." Set the dimensions to the desired banner size.

    • 2

Select the text tool, desired font and font size. Write your message. Use the select tool to resize the text if the font is not large enough. Drag the selection box from the corners to avoid warping the image.

    • 3

Use a cute phrase. Preschool banners have cute phrases and sayings, such as "Welcome to Preschool," "Look what we did" and "Learning is fun."

    • 4

Select a theme. Preschool projects should have themes that pertain to learning. Theme ideas include all about me, alphabet, numbers and counting, animals, and seasons.

    • 5

Add graphics that go with the theme. Graphics will add a nice touch to your banner. Microsoft has a variety of free clip art on its site.

    • 6

Print the banner. Insert the banner paper into the printer. Click on file and print. Enter the correct paper size and type into the printer properties box.
