You like it hot? You like it spicy? If you do, you may actually live longer. Research is showing that people who eat fiery food may lead healthier and longer lives.

    Chili peppers, wasabi, tabasco, and others may actually be keeping you healthy. But why? Capsaicin is the chemical that gives these foods their heat and consequent health benefits. It has been scientifically proven to combat high blood pressure, depression, and cholesterol and more!

    Capsaicin is often used as a topical treatment because it tricks the brain into sending less signals to that part of the body. Also, Turmeric, which is another spicy ingredient in many foods has been shown to slow down the progression of disease; namely Alzheimer's.

    Amazing right; the research is showing that hot peppers and other hot spices are leading to lower rates of cancer, heart attack, pulmonary problems, and even stoke. So make that spicy chicken a bit spicier.

Tips & Warnings
  • Go ahead, add a little more hot sauce to your meal. Live a longer, hotter, and dare I say sexier life!
  • Over consumption of anything can be dangerous; know your limits.
