Do you love Filipino food? If so, here's a great recipe for Chicken Adobo. The same recipe can also be used for Pork Adobo! Its a simple recipe and its delicious!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3 lbs of chicken thighs
  • 1 head of crushed garlic
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 cup of white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup of shoyu
  • Cooking oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  1. Step 1

    Preperation. For the chicken you can either leave the pieces of chicken whole or you can cut them up. Its completely up to you. Crush up the garlic as well. If you don't want to use chicken, you can use pork instead.

  2. Step 2

    With the stove temperature at medium-high, place the chicken and all the ingredients besides the cooking oil in a pan, cover pan and bring ingredients to a boil.

  3. Step 3

    After bringing the chicken and other ingredients to a boil, reduce heat and continue to simmer until all the liquid has evaporated.

  4. Step 4

    Once all of the liquid has evaporated, mix in desired amount of cooking oil and mix together well. It will then be ready to serve. And there you have it, chicken (or pork) adobo!
