Everyone loves thrift store shopping, it's great for the community and it gives us a sense of adventure, not knowing what one will find.
Here's how to shop.

Things You'll Need:

  • time
  1. Step 1

    Get some cash, yes, most thrift stores do not take cards or checks.

  2. Step 2

    Invest time, explore every single inch of the store, you never know what you might find.

  3. Step 3

    Ask if they have a back room with things that are not out yet, this will give you an advantage.

  4. Step 4

    The best days to shop are Fridays and weekends, most thrift stores are ran by donations, these are the days when most people donate stuff, giving you more shopping options. don't get there too early but not past noon.
    If you find something you think might have some real value, ask if they can save it for you for a day or too while you go research the item. Sometimes you can find a real gem.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you are buying electronics always ask if they have been tested, and if they have a return policy.
  • Always wash everything you buy, you don't know where it's been.
