Things You'll Need:
- foam rollers
- comb
- damp hair
-
Step 1
After taking a shower, towel dry your hair and let it air dry until it is just damp rather than sopping wet.
-
Step 2
Spritz your hair with a curl enhancer. Comb your hair, removing tangles and smoothing it out.
-
Step 3
Start working in sections. It's easiest to work from front to back, top to bottom. Grab a 2 inch section of hair just above your forehead. Comb and hold the section straight up above your head. Open the clip on the foam roller and press the foam roller against the back tips of your hair. Holding your hair against the roller, carefully roll the roller down towards your scalp, with the hair twisting towards the back of your head.
-
Step 4
Repeat this process as you work your way around the top of your head. Just make sure you roll the hair under so the ends aren't all wacky and sticking out when you remove the foam rollers.
-
Step 5
When applying to the hair on the sides, your will comb sections of you hair out to the side and roll it vertically, so that it creates more of a ringlet.
-
Step 6
Go to sleep and let your hair dry overnight in the curlers.
-
Step 7
Wake up and carefully remove the foam rollers, unrolling them. Use your fingers to loosen up the curls. You can turn your head upside down and shake out your curls while massaging your scalp as well if you want more volume.
Spritz with hairspray or a shine serum and go!
