How to Make Postal Stamps
The United States Postal Service has arrangements with several companies that allow you to make your own postage. You can choose to create and print stamps using your own photos for special occasions or plain stamps for everyday use. While you will pay a monthly service charge or more per stamp, sprucing up your mailings can make your business stand out among competitors or you can use photo stamps to show off your grandchildren. Printing your own stamps also prevents trips to the post office and enables you to purchase postage when the office is not open.

Select an image you want to turn into a stamp. While companies typically provide the ability to perform basic edits online, if your image need a lot of editing, do it before sending the image to the company.
-
4
Upload your image to the company. If you are creating a custom stamp with your own text or image, you cannot print your own stamps.
-
5
Make any adjustments online. Zoom in on the part of the image you want for your stamp and crop as necessary. If your image is too small, you could lose clarity when the company prints your stamps. Add borders or text to make your stamp stand out. You can also change the background color of your stamp.
