Take a overview of your room evaluate how much space is available. If your space is limitative. Make a list of the desire spaces. Start with a plan on paper. List the can do's and the can not' s. If a room go to long without a make over it begin to get cluttered. Declutter your room. Place the items that are your favorite in to a box and have another box for storage or give a way.

Use a color wheel or color swatches to guide you in cooperating the color scheme in the room. There or several ways of matching the color to another color hue to create a balance. Place the desire color you chose close to the window look at it on all the wall, you see the same color in a slightly different light depending on the time of day or night. Lay a second color swatches or items on the window sill and see how they look. Remember their should be no more than three basic color in a room. If you use more than three make sure they are in the primary shades that are being use.
