In your quest to make money online, you may have decided to create a blog or two. This is great! A blog is a great way to build residual income and you still have full ownership of the work that you post. Once you have started a blog and begun to get some readers, you may think that the hard work is over. This could not be farther from the truth. The work has only just begun. Now that you have readers, you have to keep them interested in your blog to make money online.

You already know that you need to keep your blog full of fresh new content to be indexed well by the search engines to make money online. This is also true for keeping readers. If you have a set schedule, your readers will know when to look forward to their next post from you. Some bloggers post everyday to make money online. Choose a schedule that you are comfortable with and stick to it.

2. Write unique posts every time that you sit down to write for your blog. One of the keys to building you blog to make money online is a to build a loyal following. If you are only rehashing the same posts over and over again on your blog, the readers will soon go away. You need to be fresh and creative with your writing to keep readers interested in your blog.

3. Build a sense of community at your blog. Some of the most popular blogs have become that way because of the great comments and discussions that go on in the comment section. This is another great way to capture readers' interest to make money online. Ask thought provoking and even controversial questions in your blog posts to start conversations in your comments section.

4. Try to help and answer any questions that may come from your readers in the comment section. It is very important to give your readers what they are looking for to make money online with a blog. If your reader asks a question, it is better for you to answer it to keep the reader interested in coming back the next day to see what else you have written. Check your comments sections a couple of times a day so that you can answer any question quickly after they have been posted.
