Think having twins is hard? It is only as hard as you make it. See my tips on how to manage your life plus twins!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • twins
  • patience
  • love
  • understanding
  1. Step 1

Each baby has their own personality. Play to them. If you have a needy baby, spend a few extra moments reassuring that baby. If you have a free happy go lucky baby, allow her to explore her world.

  2. Step 2

Baby proof! If your home is baby proofed you will spend less time on the "No No' s" and more on the learning. Babies are curious by nature and twins is double the curiosity and often double the trouble!

  3. Step 3

Realize that the same schedule may not work for both babies. One may need a longer nap than the other. It is ok that they are not exactly the same. You wouldn't expect your 1yr old and 3 yr old to like and do the exact same things. Same for twins.

  4. Step 4

Play Play Play!!! Enjoy the time that they are small. They will grow so fast as a single birth and you can miss so much if you don't take a time out to play.

  5. Step 5

Find time for yourself! Twins are not only double the blessing but they are double the strain. Take some "me" time once in a while to stay fresh.

Tips & Warnings
  • Multiples are nothing more than all your dreams coming true at once.
  • If you feel depressed or think that you may harm your child, get help. Depression and child abuse are no laughing matter. Many parents need extra help once in a while.
